One-liner

SADFinder is a native macOS file manager that brings tabs, an editable path bar, real Desktop control, and Rectangle-style window snapping to power users.

Short description (50 words)

SADFinder is a native macOS file manager built in Swift 6 for users who miss the Windows Explorer model: tabs with restore, an editable path bar, quick per-folder filter, and global window snapping. Free 7-day trial, then $3.99/month, $32/year, or $50 lifetime with all future updates.

Long description (~150 words)

SADFinder replaces Finder for power users who care about keyboard speed and the affordances Windows Explorer has had for two decades. It introduces real tabs (with reopen-last-closed and full Back/Forward history), a path bar you can click into and type a path in, a folder-scoped quick filter on ⌘⇧F, and Rectangle-style window snapping that works on any frontmost window. Pressing Delete on the macOS Desktop deletes from the real Desktop even when every other window is minimized — a notorious gap in stock macOS. SADFinder is built natively in Swift 6 and SwiftUI, with AppKit where it matters, and a GRDB-backed SQLite cache for instantly-recalled folder sizes. It runs on macOS 26 and later on Apple Silicon and Intel. There is no telemetry, no ads, and no Electron.
