End-User License Agreement

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and SADFinder for the SADFinder macOS application ("Software"). By installing or using the Software you agree to be bound by this EULA.

1. License grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and the Terms of Service, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on macOS, on the number of devices allowed by your active plan:

• Monthly and Yearly subscriptions: up to 3 Macs simultaneously.
• Lifetime license: unlimited Macs that you personally own or are the primary user of.

2. Permitted use

You may:

• Use the Software for personal or business purposes.
• Install on multiple machines you control, within the device limit.
• Migrate the license between Macs by deactivating one device from the account dashboard before activating another.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the Software or your license key.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
• Use the Software to perform actions that violate applicable law.

4. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. SADFinder retains all intellectual property rights in and to the Software, including all updates, modifications, and derivatives.

5. Updates

Active subscribers and lifetime licensees receive all future updates at no additional cost. Updates may add, change, or remove features. We will not remove core features without notice.

6. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. If you breach any term, your license terminates automatically. On termination, you must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Software in your possession. Sections 3-9 survive termination.

7. Discontinuation

If SADFinder is ever discontinued, lifetime licensees will receive a final unlocked build with no phone-home check, so the Software continues to run indefinitely on the macOS versions supported at the time of discontinuation.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SADFINDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS EULA OR THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF SADFINDER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Apple notice

This Software is not distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple is not a party to this EULA and has no obligations whatsoever with respect to the Software.

11. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of Romania. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply if more favorable.
